We need your help to equip our new tool trailer pictured above. Maryland VOAD is excited to launch our Community Support Campaign to purchase high quality tools that will be used by our volunteer work crews. Following disasters in Maryland, our volunteers will use these tools to clear property, clean up after flood waters, repair damage to homes, and build new homes for those affected.
The link below will take you to an initial list of 25 tools that are needed. As these items are donated, they will be replaced on the list with other (almost 300) tools that are needed to fully equip the trailer. Please come back and donate as often as you can, as the list will continue to change.
Community members can help us in one of two ways:
1. Make a dollar donation to Maryland VOAD
- Click this link, PayPal Giving Fund, to make a dollar donation to Maryland VOAD.
- Click the Donate button
- Select a dollar amount that you wish to contribute; by selecting “Other” you may designate any dollar amount
- Click the box next to “Share my name and email with this charity” or it will be marked as anonymous and we will not know who made the donation
- PayPal Giving Fund will link to your PayPal account or ask you to create one
- Pay using your PayPal account or with a credit card
- If you would like to designate which tools that you would like associated with your donation, please select from the list and send a short email to tools@marylandvoad.org with your name and the list of tools you would like us to purchase with your donation (please include the reference number and short description). Approximate costs for each tool are listed in the table.
2. Make an in-kind tools donation for a tool(s) to Maryland VOAD
- Select tools from the list and purchase them in a means that is easiest for you. Please do not substitute alternative tools or brand names. (e.g., we cannot accommodate the space needed in the trailer for multiple battery charging systems.)

- Then click this link, tools@marylandvoad.org, and send a short email with your name, a list of the tools that you purchased, where you purchased them from (e.g., Amazon, Lowes, Home Depot), and shipping information.
Maryland VOAD is a 501(c)3 non-profit as determined by the IRS. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. A donation receipt will be emailed to you once we receive the monetary donation or tools if you have identified yourself as the donor by emailing tools@marylandvoad.org.
