NVOAD Fall Members Meeting

The NVOAD Fall Members Meeting is happening in Alexandria, Virginia, from October 27–29. It is three days of connection, collaboration, and learning across the VOAD Movement. This year’s meeting will feature member meetings, engaging panels, and much more.

Attendance: Up to two representatives per member organization, as well as any members of National VOAD committees, are eligible to attend.
Maryland VOAD Representation: Maryland VOAD will be officially represented at the meeting by Shawn Paris (Vice Chairperson & Member Representative for Adventist Community Services) and Hajra Qazi (Communications Coordinator & Member Representative for Islamic Relief, USA).
National VOAD Disaster Case Management Convening

Expand your knowledge and understanding of Disaster Case Management (DCM) at this upcoming national convening!

National VOAD will also host a Disaster Case Management Convening on Tuesday, October 27, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. The convening will bring together national Disaster Case Management providers, community-based organizations, state agencies, experts and leaders to build a shared, practical understanding of how Disaster Case Management functions both within and outside federally declared, DCMP-funded events. Participants will also help produce concrete content that advances national DCM guidelines. Space for the DCM Convening is limited, and registration closed September 28.
